Interested in joining the Society for the Advancement of Management (SAM)?
Come hear directly from professor Norman Schwartz, SAM faculty advisor, about this new organization. Join us for an informational session and learn more about how to join. Three informal sessions will be held next week on Monday at 3pm, Tuesday at 3pm, and Wednesday at 11am.
This international organization will seek to develop students by enhancing managerial and business development skill sets in a professional way. Students will also have opportunities to attend annual conferences, enhance their resumes, participate in chapter development, be part of a "Think Tank,” and more. In order to join, undergraduate students are required to have a cumulative GPA OF 3.2 and graduate students are required to have a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
You’ll also have an opportunity to learn about the new Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center. Meet with Carrie Cottingham, Director for the Center of Entrepreneurship + Innovation, to learn what the Center is all about and how you can get involved.
All majors welcome!
